THEATRE ARTIST
As a creator, Susanne is particularly focused on devising theatre, writing, directing, and dramaturgy as well as collaborating on a wide range of projects. As a devising theatre artist, she is focused on collaboration, making space for others, and being a leading facilitator. She aims to encourage collaboration and promoting multiple perspectives. She hopes to not only create but also creatively collaborate as a civic artist by using her skills as a theatre artist in professional settings.
She is a teaching artist, summer project manager at the Cultural Arts Center of Charleston, and creator of Collaborative Creatives Charleston, a social media account dedicated to supporting artists in the Charleston community through collaboration and social media engagement.
In 2020, Susanne participated in Sojourn Theatre’s Teaching Artistry Summer Institute where she learned more about facilitation, leadership, and civic artistry. In December of 2019, she graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts with a diploma in Classical Acting. In 2020, she graduated from the second class of the Contemporary Theatre program with a minor in Creative Entrepreneurship from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.
